Priyanshu Moliya, a 21-year-old batter from Baroda, achieved a triple century by scoring an unbeaten 321 runs in the 2026-27 Ranji Trophy against defending champions Jammu and Kashmir. Moliya faced 492 balls, hitting 36 fours and one six, helping Baroda reach a total of 616 runs in their first innings at Reliance Cricket Ground, Vadodara. He became the second Baroda player and seventh youngest Indian to score a triple century in First-Class cricket. Moliya credited a sense of responsibility and the need for strong partnerships due to early wickets falling as key factors in his long innings. He aimed to play cautiously on a good pitch and was intent on striking the ball only when the opportunity arose.
