Brian Lara appeals to Pakistan government for adequate medical care for Imran Khan

Brian Lara, former West Indies captain and cricket legend, has called on the Pakistan government to ensure proper medical treatment for Imran Khan, the former Pakistan captain and prime minister, who is currently imprisoned. Lara expressed his respect for Imran Khan and condemned the lack of compassion and dignity shown to him during his incarceration. The appeal follows allegations from Imran Khan’s sons that the government is withholding necessary medical care. A group of 21 former international cricket captains had also previously petitioned the Pakistan government regarding his health conditions.
