England Allows Head Coach Stephen Fleming to Work as TV Commentator in New Zealand
Stephen Fleming, newly appointed England Test cricket head coach, will work as a commentator for Sky New Zealand during their series against India in October and December. This arrangement was approved by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), allowing Fleming an unprecedented dual role while he balances family time after concluding a long coaching tenure with Chennai Super Kings. Fleming began work with England in September, meeting with captain Joe Root and ECB officials, and will focus on preparations for the South Africa tour in December-January. He plans to remain based in New Zealand except when involved in Test series management.
