Iceland Cricket mocks PCB and Mohsin Naqvi amid Pakistan's Test series struggles in England
The Pakistan cricket team is currently touring England for a three-match Test series in which they have already suffered heavy defeats in the first two matches at Headingley and Lord's. Iceland Cricket ridiculed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and chairman Mohsin Naqvi on social media for their contentious decision to send seven players home and sack their coaching staff mid-series. The PCB replaced head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul with Mike Hesson and Ashley Noffke, respectively, and called up new and uncapped players. Pakistan is struggling in the World Test Championship 2025-2027, sitting at the bottom of the points table with 15 losses from 20 games. Iceland Cricket also mocked the Pakistani players' recent dinner with King Charles, noting that few people, including the king, recognize the players due to their recent poor performances.
