India to Face West Indies in 2nd T20I at Ranchi After Winning 1st Match

India and West Indies will compete in the second T20I of their five-match series at JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi, on October 9, 2026. India leads the series 1-0 after an eight-wicket win in Lucknow, powered by Shreyas Iyer's maiden T20I century. India has a 10-match winning streak in T20Is, while West Indies need to improve after struggles in batting and bowling during the opener. The pitch in Ranchi is expected to offer assistance to both pace and spin through the match, with a slight favor to teams chasing. The weather forecast predicts clear skies and minimal rain risk. India is likely to field the same playing XI that won the first match, while West Indies may reconsider their fast-bowling options. The game will be broadcast live on the Star Sports Network and JioHotstar, starting at 7:00 PM IST.
