India's Test cricket schedule against England and Australia confirmed until 2031
The India National Cricket Team has a packed Test cricket schedule against England and Australia until 2031. They will host Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in early 2027 with a five-match series, followed by a five-match Test series against England at home in 2028. India will then travel to Australia for another Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in the 2028-29 season, and England is set to host them for a five-match series in 2029. Another five-match Test series against Australia is planned for 2031. Recently, Shubman Gill has taken over as captain for the red-ball format, guiding India through a transition after the retirement of senior batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Under his leadership, India has shown promise with recent series wins, including a two-match Test series victory against Sri Lanka and a drawn series against England. The team’s next Test series will be against New Zealand away from home.
