Mohammad Rizwan Responds to NCCIA Investigation Over Alleged Information Leak
Mohammad Rizwan, the Pakistan National Cricket Team's wicketkeeper-batter, is cooperating with an investigation by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) concerning allegations of leaking private information during the England tour. Both Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq were questioned in Lahore and had their phone and financial data examined. These allegations relate to the leak of confidential dressing room information and remain unproven. Rizwan stated that he is waiting for the investigation's conclusion before providing further details. The inquiry follows a controversial decision by the PCB to send Rizwan and six other players home amid performance and other undisclosed issues, with Pakistan having lost the Test series 0-3 to England, deepening their World Test Championship crisis.
