Monaco Beat PSG As Champions Remain Without Victory

Paris Saint-Germain’s difficult start to the 2026/27 Ligue 1 season continued with a 2–1 defeat to Monaco at the Parc des Princes, leaving the defending champions without a win after their opening three league matches. PSG now turn their attention to Europe, where they will begin the defence of their Champions League title. After winning back-to-back European crowns, the contrast between their continental dominance and their early domestic struggles has made their current situation even more surprising. For Monaco, the win confirms an excellent start to the campaign. For PSG, the message is very different: three matches, no wins, and early pressure already beginning to build.
