Ramesh Powar likely to replace Ajit Agarkar in BCCI senior men's selection committee
Former Indian spinner Ramesh Powar is expected to succeed Ajit Agarkar on the senior men's selection committee of the BCCI, currently headed on an interim basis by Pragyan Ojha. Initially considered for the chairman role of the junior selection panel, Powar shifted focus towards a position on the senior committee. The Cricket Advisory Committee conducted interviews, including candidates like Wasim Jaffer, Connor Williams, and Jacob Martin for the senior roles. If Powar moves to the senior panel, former fast bowler Dodda Ganesh may become chairman of the junior selection committee. Parthiv Patel, rumored as a candidate, did not participate in the interview process. No final decisions have been officially announced yet.
