Romario Shepherd names Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma as toughest batters to bowl against
West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd identified Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma as the most difficult batters to face bowling after the IPL 2026 season. Shepherd, who has played with Kohli at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), praised Kohli for his insights and contributions in the dressing room. Kohli scored 657 runs in the 2025 IPL season and 675 runs in 2026, with impressive averages and strike rates. Rohit Sharma, who led India to the 2024 T20 World Cup victory, has amassed 20,427 runs at an average over 42 across formats. Both cricketers have retired from T20Is and Tests but remain active in ODIs and are expected to play in the 2027 ODI World Cup.
